                                                                           Development in Kuwait

              Twenty years ago there were no high buildings, malls, schools. Now there are a lot of people 

Came to live in Kuwait, so the city built a lot of new buildings. The buildings in Kuwait have 

doubledI n the past forty years. The city built new things like skyscrapers, malls, schools.

       

              There are two skyscrapers in Kuwait. The first one is the freedom tower. The freedom tower 

was built in 1991 after Kuwait won the war between Kuwait and Iraq. The government built it to 

remained the people of the war. Now the government uses the freedom tower for signals, like 

cell phone , internet signals. The freedom tower is the main energy source also. It is a very high  

building, so it can take energy from the satellite and send it to the people in the home, so people 

can watch TV. The second skyscraper is the Kuwait towers. The Kuwait towers were built, because 

the government wanted to make it a symbol for Kuwaitis. They built it to attract the tourists, inside 

the tower you can see most of the Kuwait, and it is a wonderful view from the top. The government 

made a restaurant inside for the tourists, bit it is kind of expensive. The Kuwait skyscrapers attract

many tourists.

            Forty years ago there were no malls in Kuwait. Now there are a lot of malls In Kuwait.

In every year, there is a new mall opening. These is a good thing to open new mall to let the 

Kuwaitis or the tourists more options in shopping. All of the malls built by the business men.

The business men cannot just open the mall there are some conditions from the government.

The conditions are the business men must have a lot of money on his account because if some

things happen he can handle it although he must higher security guards. The number of 

securty guards depend on how big is the mall if it huge he must higher at leat 50 guards.

The malls now are nearly every where in Kuwait. The biggest mall at the Arabian Gulf is in 

Kuwait it's called the Avenues also it's so popular. The ancient mall in Kuwait it's called soug 

Almubarakeya it has been around for at leat 200 years. The malls have been growing at the last

twenty years in Kuwait.

             The school were very bad in Kuwait. There were no good buildings or good teachers. 

Now the government worked hard and built perfect schools also good teachers. The government

let the business man's open schools in Kuwait, but the private school is expensive. The government

school free for the Kuwaitis only. Schools  in Kuwait are much better now than it was before.

           Kuwait has been developing in the past years. The government built a lot new things.

such as skyscrapers, malls, and schools. Now Kuwait is ready for more people and more tourists.

               

            My name is Saleh I came to ASU to study business. First of all, I'm going to talk about

myself. I am from Kuwait, in Alahmde, my city that has a lot of oil companies. Also, my city has a 

Big park my family and I go there every weekend, we cook there, rice, pasta, chicken. Also, my 

Father makes his coffee and tea. These are the three reasons why I choose to study in ASU. The first 

reason is that my brother was studying here, he told me that ASU has an excellent education in

business.The second reason is that ASU ranked 22 in the world for business, I searched on the

internet and There was a lot of websites that says good things about ASU. The third reason is most of

My friends Study here. So I choose to study here because of these three reasons. I graduate from a

Private highSchool and It, was in Mangaf city. My high school was the most famous high school in

the(10th area), The 10th area is 11 cities near each other called the 10th area.

         The most interesting characteristic about myself is that I love to travel a lot. I traveled to London UK, 

Bahrain, Belgium, Holland, Germany, USA. In the USA,  I visited some of the particular states. The

first state that I visit Florida in Orlando, The City was hot and the sun on our head. In Florida, I went

to (Universal Studios), Universal Studios is a large place that has great games and most of the

Hollywood movies were taken from that place. for example, batman, Avengers, superman, and all of

great movies.After that, I went to Miami it also in Florida, Miami that has the famous ocean

in the United State.My family and I  enjoyed in the ocean, we swim there, and we had so much

fun there.



           I am thinking of some universities to study there after global launch.The first one is ASU.

I think the ASU is the greatest business University in the United States, but actually, the ASU has the

Second place in the United States.The second one is Boise State University, that in Idaho.

I think to study there because some of my friends was studying there, and they say good stuff aboutit.

The third one is The University of Tampa.Two of my cousins studying there and they said it is

great University, but they are studying engineering. These are the Universities that I am planning

to study there after global launch.


 

           To sum up, I like Tempe and it's has a lot of things that's same in my country, I didn't feel of

homesick and I feel that's Tempe is my second city. Also, my favourite things about myself are

having travel to many different countries and know more culture about them. I will continue my

study plan at Boise state university it's more popular of my major.
